Weita Edwards

Mrs. Weita Edwards, age 80, of Gainesville, formerly of Winder died February 19, 2014. Born in Barrow County, she was the daughter of the late Jewell and Ruby Doster Skinner, and was preceded by her husband, Sidney Edwards in 1966 and son, Gary Edwards in 1952. Mrs. Edwards was a member of Nazareth United Methodist Church and had been employed as a bookkeeper at Carwood Manufacturing Company.
Surviving are Children, Sharon & James Barnes of Chestnut Mountain and Neal & Faye Edwards of Bethlehem, Grandchildren, Brad Edwards, Tim Edwards, Michael Edwards, Shalaina Edwards and Jami Barnes, Five Great Grandchildren, Sister, Debbie Millholland of Denver, Colorado, Brothers, Gerald Skinner of Venice, Florida and Moran Skinner of Port Richey, Florida.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 P. M., Saturday, February 22, 2014 from the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery. The Family will receive friends, Friday, February 21, 2014 from 5-8 P. M. at the funeral home.
