Hugh F. McHugh Jr.

Hugh F. McHugh Jr., age 74 of Gainesville, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at his residence following a brief illness.

Private services will be held at a later date.

Mr. McHugh was born January 28, 1940 in Dorchester, Massachusetts to the late H. Frank McHugh and Ethel Scherber McHugh. Mr. McHugh served in the United States Air Force. He was a former Purchasing Agent at Riverside Military Academy and was of Catholic Faith. Mr. McHugh was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Hugh F. McHugh III, and his grandson, Joshua McHugh.
Mr. McHugh is survived by his wife, Willma McHugh of Gainesville, sons, Kevin McHugh of South Carolina, Michael McHugh of Missouri, Brian McHugh of North Carolina, Jon McHugh of Georgia, Christopher McHugh of Georgia, Daniel McHugh of Georgia, and William McHugh of Georgia, sisters, Patricia Warner of Massachusetts, and Linda Carson of California, brother, Robert McHugh of Massachusetts, 9 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
