Herman J. Brown

Mr. Herman J. Brown, age 91, of Buford, GA passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2014. He is survived by his wife of seventy years, Travis Gunter Brown, Buford, GA; children, Phil W. Brown, Buford, GA, Sheila and Mike Croft, Buford, GA, Dale G. and Stacy Brown, Buford, GA; grandson, Zachary Brown, Winder, GA; sisters, Nuel B. Melton, Buford, GA, Margaret and Bob Sams, Charleston, SC; brother, Rennis and Janice Brown, Buford, GA; sister-in-law, Ruth A. Brown, Lawrenceville, GA; beloved companion, Ginger; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Brown was born December 23, 1922 in Buford, GA. He was a WWII veteran of the U. S. Army. He was a retired truck and school bus dealer. He enjoyed traveling, fishing, Nascar, going to Florida and on cruises. There will be no funeral service at the request of Mr. Brown. His remains will be cremated after visitation. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 5:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Rock Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, 1100 Rock Springs Road, Lawrenceville, GA 30043, or to the charity of your choice in Memory of Herman J.
