Mae Monteen Savage

Mae Monteen Savage, age 79 of Lake Charles, Louisiana, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Christus St. Patrick Hospital, Lake Charles, Louisiana following an extended illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Shane Wehunt, Reverend Tim Bennett and Reverend Chad Wehunt will officiate. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 from 3 - 8 pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Savage was born May 21, 1934 in Dawsonville, Georgia to the late George Wehunt and Rebecca Simmons Wehunt. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith.

Mrs. Savage is survived by her husband, James Savage of Lake Charles, Louisiana, son & daughter-in-law, Edward W. & Lesa Reynolds, Jr. of Cumming, sisters, Janette Gentry of Norfolk, Virginia and Linda Bennett of Dawsonville, brother & sister-in-law, Phillip & Ann Wehunt of Gainesville, brother-in-law, Mack McCoy of Athens, sister-in-law, Stella Wehunt of Gainesville, grandchildren, Blair & Tonona Reynolds, Ryan & Casey Reynolds, Sarah & Bob Force and Graham Reynolds, great-grandchildren, Ayden Reynolds and Stella Force and many nieces and nephews.
