Jeff T. Burt

Jeff T. Burt, age 42, of Buford, GA passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2014. He was preceded in death by his father, Ted Burt. He is survived by his wife of nineteen years, Shirley J. Burt, Buford, GA; daughters, Katie Burt, Buford, GA and Hannah Burt, Buford, GA; mother, Lynn Phillips Burt, Dacula, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Donna and Michael Adams, Hoschton, GA and Debra and David Johnson, Powhatan, VA; brother, Wayne Burt, Denver, CO; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Tom and Donna Miskimen, Canton, OH. Mr. Burt was born June 18, 1971 in Atlanta, GA. He was a 1989 graduate of Winder Barrow High School in Winder, GA, a 1993 graduate of Liberty University with a bachelor's degree and a 1999 graduate of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary with a master's degree. He was an ordained Baptist Minister. He was a member of Blackshear Place Baptist Church in Gainesville, GA. He was an Eagle Scout. He was a loving husband, father, son, and brother. He will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 17, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, February 16th from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
