Russell 'Rusty'Todd Cook

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Russell "Rusty"Todd Cook, age 43, of Hoschton, who passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2014. Mr. Cook was born in Athens, Georgia, a son to Edwin and Diane Perkins Cook of Jefferson. Mr. Cook worked for Quality Foods and was a member of the Northeast Church in Braselton, where he played drums in the Praise Band.

Survivors include his wife, Melissa Jane Owensby Cook, daughter, Sydney Cook, son, Bryson Cook all of Hoschton, parents, Edwin and Diane Perkins Cook of Jefferson, brother, Chuck (Becky) Cook, of Jefferson, grandmother, Hazel Bruce, of Winder, nephews and nieces, Kallon, Mallory, Noah and Greyson, mother and father in law, James and Judy Owensby, of Maysville, sister and brother in law, Tim and Jennifer Nichols, of Commerce.

The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at 11:00am in the Northeast Church with Pastor Russ Harbin and Rev. Verlin Reece officiating. The body will lie in state in the Northeast Church on Tuesday, from 9am
