Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Donald Gaines, age 59 of Maysville, Georgia who entered into rest Saturday, February 8, 2014. Mr. Gaines was born in Pendergrass, Georgia, the son of the late Luke and Lou Belle Satterfield Gaines. Mr. Gaines is preceded in death by brothers, Gene, Matt, Raymond, William, Luther and John Henry Gaines and sister Irene Whisnant. Survivors include his wife, Sherry Martin Gaines of Maysville, Son, Randy Martin of Maysville. Sisters Betty Jones of Commerce, and Nellie Fay Lee of Jefferson. Brothers, Rudolph Gaines of Nicholson and Clyde Gaines of Maysville.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 11, 2014 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Reverends Marty Smith and Winfred Bingham officiating. Burial will follow in Evans Memory Gardens with Larry Gaines, H.E. Gaines, Kenneth Gaines, Gerald Jones, Matthew Gaines and Andy Bingham honored as pallbearers. The family will receive friends 9-2 Tuesday, February 11, prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family at 854 Old Miller Road, Maysville, Georgia 30558.
