Mrs. Jessie Mae (Harrell) Wright, age 91, of Gainesville, Georgia, went home to be with her Lord on February 9, 2014.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 pm Friday, February 14, 2014 at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel with interment in Memorial Park Cemetery. The Dr. Tom Smiley, Dr. Jerry Gill and Reverend Don Ormsbee will officiate. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Friday at the funeral home and also following the service.
Jessie Mae was born October 29, 1922 in Varnville, SC, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Andrew Harrell and Ida (McTaggart) Harrell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Henry Wright.
She leaves behind her three sons and their families, Tom H. Jr. and Janell Wright of Roswell, GA; Cliff H. and Carla Wright of Gainesville, GA; and Terry A. and Nancy Wright of Cary, NC; grandchildren, Jeff and Daniell' Wright of Savannah, GA; Kip and Rachel Lynne Wright of Winder, GA; Kaci Wright and Alex Wright of Cary, NC; and Rachel Wright of Gainesville, GA.
The family would like to extend their thanks to her special friends and caregivers, Joy Denton, Nichele Owens and Brandi Clackum and also Hospice of Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to Lakewood Baptist Church Building Fund 2235 Thompson Bridge Road Gainesville, GA 30501.
