Mollie Gaddy Loggins

Mollie Gaddy Loggins, age 81 of Dahlonega, GA passed away Saturday, February 8, 2014 at her home in Dahlonega, GA following an extended illness.

Mrs. Loggins is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Loggins and daughter, Judy Ketchum.

Mollie was born March 19, 1932 to the late Hardy and Mabel Gaddy. She was born in North Carolina but lived over 75 years in the North Georgia area, and was retired after being a homemaker and working in many different capacities throughout her adult life.

Mrs. Loggins is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Edward and Kris Loggins, Georgia; daughter, Annette Loggins and partner, Shandra Norman, Dahlonega, GA; grandson, Roland Ketchum, Jr., Dahlonega, GA; granddaughters, Melissa D. Corral and husband, Greg, Gainesville, GA; Madison Koeneke, Dahlonega, GA; Kathryn Loggins, Scott, LA; great-grandson, Oliver Corral, Gainesville, GA; sisters, Helen McDonald, Dahlonega, GA; Eva Jane Osborne, Carnesville, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Mary Jo and Wiley Reed, Pendergrass, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Ernest and Betty Gaddy, Lula, GA; sister-in-law, Jean Gaddy, Gainesville, GA; brother-in-law, Frank Loggins and sister-in-law, Martha Loggins, Mary Ester, FL. A number of nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

The family wishes to thank the excellent doctors, nurses, aides, counselors and chaplains who took expert and loving care of Mollie.

Funeral services for Mollie are scheduled for 2 PM Monday, February 10, 2014 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega, GA.

Rev. JR Fields will officiate.

Interment will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery in Dahlonega, GA.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega from 6 PM until 8 PM Sunday, February 9, 2014 and 12 Noon until 2 PM Monday, February 10.
