Cleo Fouts, 91, of Dawsonville passed away Tuesday February 4, 2014 at the Life Care Center of Gwinnett following a period of declining health.
Born October 26, 1922 to the late John and Flara Anderson, she was a lifelong resident of Dawson County. A homemaker at her death, Mrs. Fouts was employed at Sweet Orr for over 20 years after which she worked a number of years at Hasco. She was of the Baptist faith and was also preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Esco Fouts; sisters, Margie Ford, Winnie Johnson; and a brother, Sonny Anderson.
Surviving are her daughter, Janice Lee, Lawrenceville; son, Jerry Fouts, Dawsonville; sisters, Faye Mabrey Loganville, Jimmie Fausett, Dawsonville, Anne Roper, Jasper; sister in law, Annette Anderson, Jasper; grandchildren, Marcus and Kelly Fouts, Tony Gaddis, Whitney Lee, Pat and Missy Wilson; great grandchildren, Austin and Avery Gaddis, Ace and Asher Fouts, Logan and Darby Wilson, Kali Milford; and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Friday February 7, 2014 at 2 o'clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Jason Hamby and Rev. David Mitchell will officiate. Interment will follow in Dawsonville Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 3:30 until 9 at the funeral home.
