Mendal Bailey

Mr. Mendal Bailey, 86, of Buford, GA passed away on February 2, 2014. He was preceded in death by his wife of thirty-two years, Rachel Davis Bailey. He is survived by children, Tilda and John Coker, Carnesville, GA; Shelia and Ronnie Darracott, Buford, GA; Hessie and Steve Whitfield, Braselton, GA; Annette and Larry Davis, Buford, GA; Dana and Chris Hassler, St. Pete Beach, FL; eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, sister-in-law, Lucille Thompson Bailey, Buford, GA; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Bailey was a native of Buford, GA and a veteran of the U.S.Army WWII. He was the owner of Buford City Cab Company. "He was a believer in God".

Funeral service will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, February 5, 2014 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Morris Shadburn officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, February 4, 2014.
