Lucille Hulsey

Lucille Hulsey, age 92, of Murrayville, Ga. died peacefully in her sleep on February 1, 2014 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 am Wednesday February 5, 2014 at the Little-Davenport Chapel with the Rev. Barry Blakley officiating, interment will follow in the Hopewell U.M.C. Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 to 6 pm Tuesday February 4, 2014 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Hopewell U.M.C. 4723 Hopewell church road Gainesville, Ga. 30506

Lucille was born on June 8, 1921 and was a lifelong resident of Murrayville, she retired from the Hall county school system after teaching 37 years, she was a graduate of North Georgia College where she received a masters degree. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Annie Price Hulsey, Brothers, Ernest, Bill, Sam, Ray and James Hulsey and a sister Louise. Lucille loved her fellow man and was always helping out when she was needed, she loved her dog "Miss Pop" and feeding her wild birds.

She will be sorely missed by her niece and husband, Edith Hulsey Keeling and John of Decatur, Ga., and nephews, Samuel Otto Hulsey, Jr. and Bob Hulsey both of Murrayville, Ga. and great nieces and great nephews, Michael Keeling, Suzanne Stripling, Jason Hulsey, Jordan Hulsey and Josh Hulsey.
