Robert Amis Brazell

Robert Amis Brazell, 89 8/13/24-1/27/14 Bob (Papa) Brazell Snr., left his earthly body to be with Jesus on Monday morning, his son, David was at his side. He was born in Hogansville, Georgia, the 9th of 12 children of James Leonard Brazell Snr and Ella Mae Kee Fleming Brazell. He served in the Navy during World War II and after an honorable discharge moved to Orlando Fl. where he worked as a plumber at the Navy Base and raised his 2 sons with his wife, Sara Nanette Brazell. He was a member of First Christian Church of Orlando and he will be remembered for his sweet smile, the fact that he never met a stranger and went out of his way to assist folks however he could.

He is survived by sons, Robert Amis Brazell, Jr. (wife Pam Brazell) of Orlando Fl. and David Thomas Brazell (wife Cathie Brazell) of Jefferson, Ga. He also has a brother, Marian Banks Brazell Sr. of Warner Robins, 5 Grandchildren, 1 Great Grandchild and several nephew and nieces.

Graveside Services at Shadowlawn Cemetery in Lagrange, Ga. on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to Gwinnett Medical Center Foundation for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, 1755 North Brown R. Suite 100, Lawrenceville, Ga 30043. "For who ever shall call upon the name of The Lord shall be saved". The heavens gained a new angel this week.
