Dorris Lee Dover

Mr. Dorris Lee Dover, age 86 of Gainesville, passed away on Monday, January 27, 2014 at Eastside Medical Center following an extended illness.


Graveside services are scheduled for Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at 11:00 am in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Pierce Ashmore will officiate. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 from 6 - 8 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Dover was born October 26, 1927 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late John Henry Dover and Nellie Ayers Dover. He was retired and was a lifetime member of New Holland Congregational Holiness Church. Mr. Dover was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Lois Dover.

Mr. Dover is survived by his cousin, Gloria Tapp of Lakeland, Florida and a number of other relatives.
