Brenda J. Whiting, age 67 of Buford, GA died Sunday, January 26, 2014 after a brief illness. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, January 30, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. Danny Newbern and Rev. Dale Spicer will officiate. Interment will follow at Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The Family will receive Friends Wednesday, January 29, 2014 from Noon- 9:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the Family request contributions be made to the Zion Hill Baptist Church Building Fund, 3390 South Puckett Road, Buford, GA 30519. Brenda is survived by her Husband, Mickey Whiting, Buford. Sons, Jamie Brooks Whiting, Michael Schon Whiting and Jordan Tobias Whiting all of Buford. Grandson, Chopper Schon Whiting, Buford. Mother, Corine Dodd Clark, Buford. Brother, Jimmy Satterfield, Buford. Sister, Roben Pardue, Buford. Brenda was a native and lifelong resident of Buford. She was a retired Teacher with the Gwinnett County School System. She was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church where she served in numerous capacities including webmaster for the church website.
