Mattie Lee Griffin Jarrett

Funeral Services are scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Sunday January 26, 2014 at Lebanon United Methodist Church for Mattie Lee Griffin Jarrett age 90 of Gillsville. The Rev. Marshall Dale will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Mrs. Jarrett passed away Friday January 24, 2014.

Mrs. Jarrett was born in Hall County on January 17, 1924 to the late Emory Spear Griffin and Kate Cranford Griffin. She was a homemaker and a member of Lebanon United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Howell (Hal) Jarrett, Son Wayne Jarrett, Brothers and Sisters, Clara Bell Smallwood, Ara (Sis) Gilmer, Buck Griffin, Ann Rylee, Susie Rylee, Charlie Griffin, and John Emory Griffin.

Survivors include Son and Daughter-in-Law, Larry and Emalie Jarrett, Gillsville, Daughters Gale Dale, Gainesville, and Lynn Jarrett, Flowery Branch, Grandchildren and Spouses, Christie Dale and Scott Haynes, Mark and Addie Jarrett, Mandy and T.J. Major and 5 Great Grandchildren.
