James Martin Pilny

James Martin Pilny, age 63, of Gainesville, passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at his residence following an extended illness.


No services are planned at this time.


Mr. Pilny was born October 27, 1950 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Rudolph Frank Pilny and Stella Lillian Augustine Pilny. He was a service advisor for Hardy Chevrolet. James was an avid fisherman and water-skier, and loved telling funny stories and was liked by all that knew him.

Mr. Pilny is survived by his wife, Lynne W. Pilny of Gainesville, brother, Ted Pilny of Ohio, sister, Joanne Vokurka of Ohio and a number of nieces and nephews.
