Mike Anthony Springer

Mike Anthony Springer, age 53 of Commerce died Monday, January 20, 2014 at Athens Regional Medical Center. Mr. Springer was born in Atlanta to the late, Henry Leon and Maggie Lee Harris Springer. Mr. Springer was a construction worker.

Mr. Springer is survived by his wife, Paula Cheeks Springer of Buford; daughters, Mechele Denmon of Dahlonega, Amy Springer of Dahlonega, Amanda Laport of Alto, and Ashley Springer of Buford; son, James Springer of Oakwood; brothers, Jerry and Johnny Springer both of Commerce; sisters, Helen Brookshire of Gainesville and Deborah Rivera of Commerce; ten grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Thursday Jan. 23 at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Davis officiating with the interment following at Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday night from 6-8 PM.
