Ethel Mae Ledbetter Roberts

Mrs. Ethel Mae Ledbetter Roberts, age 80 of 249 Hospital Drive, Toccoa, Georgia passed away Sunday, January 19, 2014 at the Stephens County Hospital.

A daughter of the late Hubert Cecil and Maude Adams Ledbetter, she was born July 8, 1933 in Brookhaven, Georgia having lived most of her life in Toccoa. She worked in retail sales as a clerk and was a member of Hill Street Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Garnett Roberts in 2010 and a son, Johnny Roberts in 2013.

Survivors include four daughters and sons-in-law, Connie Lockhart of Woodstock, Georgia, Genny Mendez of Canton, Georgia, Crystal and Wayne Stroud of Waleska, Florida, Nita Roberts and Melissa and Jess Arrowood both of Toccoa, Georgia; fifteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 22, 2 O'clock PM in the Hillcrest Chapel of Acree-Davis Funeral Home with the Reverend Paul Garrison officiating.

The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Wednesday from noon until the service time.

Inurnment will be on Friday, January 24 in the Georgia National Veteran Cemetery in Canton, Georgia.
