Mrs. Ora Lee Burden, age 89, of Lawrenceville, GA passed away on Friday, January 17, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Haskell P. Burden. She is survived by her son, Jerry Burden, Lawrenceville, GA; grandchildren, Lindsay Ussery, Commerce, GA, Chelsea Burden, Lawrenceville, GA and Katherine Burden, Lawrenceville, GA; great grandchild, Addison Ussery; brother and sister-in-law, Weldon and Shirley Deerman, Dutton, AL; sister, Carol Pauley, Dutton, AL; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Burden was born September 1,1924 in Dutton, Alabama. She was retired from Sunbrand, Inc. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Presbyterian Church in Duluth, GA. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. C.S.T Friday, January 24, 2014 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 1411 County Road 51, Dutton, Alabama. The remains will lie instate 12:00 noon, C.S.T. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m., Thursday, January 23, 2014. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Community Cemetery.
