Marjorie Downs

Marjorie Downs age 85 passed away on January 13, 2014.



Mrs. Downs was born in Chattanooga, TN and attended The University Of Tennessee Chattanooga. She was most proud of being a mom.



Mrs. Downs was preceded in death by her parents William Harvey Leslie and Mary Nell (Tyler) Leslie; son and daughter in law Jerry (Felicia) Downs; and brother Richard Harvey Leslie.



She is survived by her husband Locklan Downs; daughter Gale Downs of Gainesville, GA; sister in law Wanda Leslie of Chattanooga , TN; brother and sister in law Darrel & Carolyn McCauley of Mt. Juliet, TN; grandchildren Greg Downs and Jason Downs of West Palm Beach, Fl; and great grandchildren Alexia and Sophia; as well as several nieces and nephews.



Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Thursday, January 16, 2014 at the Cumming Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery in Chattanooga, TN at 3:30 PM. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 4-7 PM at
