Donald Brail 'Donnie' Carroll Sr

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Donald Brail "Donnie" Carroll Sr., age 59, of Carnesville, who passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2014. Mr. Carroll was born in Commerce, GA, a son to the late James Albert Carroll and the late Bonnie Nell Mathis Carroll.

Survivors include his children, Cathy Bassett, Carnesville, Sharon Croya, Trafford, AL, Donnie Carroll Jr., Danielsville, sisters, Mary Stanley, Athens, Shelby Jean Carroll, Teresa Lynn Beckworth both of Danielsville, brothers, Terry Carroll and Talmadge Carroll both of Athens, and 15 Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M., Monday, January 13, 2014 at the Jefferson Gospel Tabernacle Church, 321 Fields Road, Jefferson, GA 30549 with Rev. Patsy Garrett officiating. The burial will follow in the Oconee Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, from 1 until 2pm at the church, prior to the service.
