Edith Partin

Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Edith Lee (Nix) Partin, age 90, of Cleveland. Mrs. Partin passed away Thursday, January 9, 2014. Edith attended Trinity Full Gospel Fellowship Church in Cleveland.

Mrs. Partin is preceded in death by her husband, Barney Partin; brother, Buddy Nix; sister, Geraldine London; sister and brother in law, Billie "Little Bill" and Bill "Big Bill" Link; grandson, Nathan Coker; and granddaughter, Chelsea Partin.

Edith is survived by her son and daughter in law, Chandler and Esther Partin, Cleveland; her daughter and son in law, Stamachia and Jimmy Coker, Sautee; and sister, Jane Ivey, Cleveland; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. Mrs. Partin was loved very much by all of her family and friends and will be extremely missed by all who knew her.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, 6-8pm. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, at 2pm in the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home. Rev. Dennis Taylor and Rev. Gary Heffner will officiate. Interment will be held at Gateway Memory Park, Cleveland.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trinity Full Gospel Fellowship Church or White County Food Pantry.
