'Kris' Martin

"Kris" Martin, age 50, of Dahlonega, GA, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2014, at her residence following an extended illness.

"Kris" lived most of her life in Lumpkin County. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her husband, Junior Martin, Dahlonega, GA; mother, Shirley Westbrooks, Dahlonega, GA; father, Ode Sullens, Dahlonega, GA; children, Alisha and Jimmy Allison, Dahlonega, GA, Michelle and Charles Davis, Dahlonega, GA, Bobbie Sue and Shane Littlefield, Gainesville, GA, Billy and Melanie Martin, Jackson County; siblings, Karen Collins, Gainesville, GA, Allie Richardson, Dahlonega, GA, Henry Coy Sullens, Dahlonega, GA, Linda Sullens, Dahlonega, GA, Sandy Dowdle, Tennessee; her devoted Pugs, "her babies", Lifesaver and Ruby Sue". 9 grandchildren and a number of other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for "Kris" are scheduled for 1 PM Saturday, January 11, 2014 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega, GA.

Rev. Carrel Pruitt and Rev. William Gravitt will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Summerour Cemetery in Lumpkin County.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega on Friday, January 10, 2014 from 2 PM until 9 PM and again on Saturday from 10 AM until 1 PM.
