Betty Jean King McDaniel

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Betty Jean King McDaniel, 79, of Jefferson, Ga. who passed away Thursday January 9, 2014.

Mrs. McDaniel was born in Wilmington, South Carolina a daughter of the late Berry and Lois Irby King. Mrs. McDaniel was a homemaker and a member of Crying in the Wilderness Church in Commerce, Ga.

Mrs. McDaniel was preceded in death by her parents and Husband, LC McDaniel.

Survivors include her children, Fay King, Winder, Ga., Janey Andrews, Fort Dodge, Iowa, Mattie Smith, Winder, Ga., Helen Morrison, Commerce, Ga., Louise Smith, Nicholson, Ga., LC McDaniel, Jr., Taylorsville, Ga., Carolyn Perry, Jefferson, Ga., Paul McDaniel, Jefferson, Ga., Margie Kemper, Danielsville, Ga., and Jeniffer Hudson, Gainesville, Ga., brother, Charles King, Huntsville, Alabama, 28 grand children, 29 great grandchildren and 2 great great grand children and a number of other relatives.

Funeral Services will be Sunday January 12, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Rev. Loyd Reed officiating. Interment will follow at Walnut Fork Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mattie Smith 1154 Hwy 211 NE Winder, Ga. 30690 on Friday and Saturday from 9AM until 9PM.
