Barbara Sue Batey

Barbara Sue Batey age 65 of Gainesville passed away Wednesday Jan. 8, 2014 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness.



Mrs. Batey was born on August 19, 1947 in Clayton, Georgia to the late Bill & Betty Gilreath Abercrombie. She was a homemaker and a member of Northside Baptist Church.



Survivors include, husband, Robert Batey of Gainesville, brother, Billy Abercrombie of Dawsonville.



Graveside services will be held 3:30 p.m. Friday at the Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Junior Jones officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Thursday at the Memorial Park Funeral Home.
