Braughton C.A. Mauldin

Braughton C.A. Mauldin, age 83, of Cumming, passed away peacefully at Embracing Hospice on Thursday, January 2, 2014. Braughton was born June 29, 1930 . He was a member of Longstreet Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, Cleave and Winona Mauldin; wife of 26 years, Betty Mauldin; sister, Winnie Lee Drake; brothers-in-law, Edwin Terry, Calvin Thompson, Jim Orr, Donald Creamer; sisters-in-law, Sadie Orr, Carolyn and Charity Creamer.



Survivors include his daughter, Louise Mauldin and family; stepdaughter, Carol Howard of Cumming; sisters and brothers-in-law, Hazel Terry of Milton, Virginia and Rex Roden of Cumming, Zolla and Chuck Garrett of Villa Rica, Robert Drake of FL; sisters-in-law, Jane Thompson of Cumming, Deanie Creamer of Cumming; several nieces and nephews.



Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 5th at 2:30 pm at Bethelview United Methodist Church with Rev. Henry Wade, Rev. Wendell Thompson, Rev. Don Underwood, Rev. Nancy Meeker, Rev. Travis Bridgeman officiating. Interment will follow at Mars Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Saturday from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm and Sunday from 12:00 noon until hour of the service.
