Francis (Bud) Lenahan Kelsey

Francis (Bud) Lenahan Kelsey, born 12/26/25 in Buffalo, NY. Attended Bennett H/S where he met the love of his life Phyllis Simson. He joined the Air Force in 1943 as a Bombardier/Navigator. On September 20,1945 he took a leave to marry Phyllis and then returned to service. After the service, he attended Columbia University to earn a degree in Engineering. His first and only job was with Niagara Machine and Tool in Buffalo where he became their top Sales Engineer. He retired from Niagara at 62 years of age after which Bud and Phyllis enjoyed numerous years of traveling and loving life on Lake Lanier. Bud was married to Phyllis until her passing on Feb 16, 2009.
He is survived by his 3 daughters, Kathy Villano and her husband Jim, Colleen Jager and her husband Wolfgang and Maureen Cowart and her significant other Jeff. He is also survived by 14 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren with 2 more on the way.
He was a devout Catholic and a longtime member of Prince of Peace in Flowery Branch.
Services will be held Thursday, January 2, 2014 at 3:00 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 to 3:00 prior to the service.
