Phyllis Norrell Burruss

Phyllis Norrell Burruss, age 58, of Cumming, passed away Thursday, December 26, 2013. She was a member at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. Phyllis was a fantastic mother and loving Nana. She loved to cook and socialize with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Willard Norrell; grandson, Max Elzey; father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Frances Burruss.



Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Gary Harold Burruss of Cumming; daughters and sons-in-law; Amanda and Nathan Elzey of Cumming, Amy and Drew Jenkins of Cumming; grandson, Mason Elzey; mother, Emma Jo Norrell of Free Home; brother and sister-in-law, Johnny and Edith Norrell of Cumming; sisters and brother-in-law, Donna Norrell of Free Home, Penny and Phil Covington of Ball Ground, Loretta Green of Cumming; and many other loved ones and friends.



Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 29, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Cantrell, Rev. Randy Richards and Rev. Ricky Byrd officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Friday from 6 P.M. until 9 P.M., Saturday from 11 A.M. until 2 P.M. and 6 P.M. until 9 P.M., Sunday from 11 A.M. until the hour of the service.
