Kathleen Williams Smith

Kathleen Williams Smith, age 78, of Clarkesville died December 25, 2013, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Born August 23, 1935, in Habersham County, she was the daughter of the late Jim and Rudy Williams of Demorest. In addition to her parents, Kathleen was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce-Ann Williams and a brother, Bobby Williams.

She was retired from BJ's Supply Company. Survivors include her husband of 61 years Bennie Smith; one son and daughter in law Jimmy and Sue Smith of Demorest; one daughter Kathy Smith, also of Demorest; three grandchildren Kassy and Corey Baird, Jared and Nicole Smith, Kody and Kayla Ryles; four great grandchildren Connor, Ava, Annalyse and Easton, brothers and sisters in law Leon and Jackie Williams and Mike and Karen Williams.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 PM, Friday, December 27, 2013, at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church where she was a lifetime member. Interment will follow the service in Hillside Gardens Cemetery.
