Mary Ellen Pruitt

Miss Mary Ellen Pruitt, age 72, of Cumming, GA passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Lillie Bell Pruitt; sisters, Lorene Cash, Castelle Buice, Willene Clinton and Opal Pruitt; and brothers, Marvin Pruitt, Winfred Pruitt, Bonnie Pruitt, Charles Pruitt and Ledford Pruitt. She is survived by her sister, Betty Pruitt Weatherford, Stone Mountain, GA and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Miss Pruitt was born September 6, 1941 in Cumming, GA and was raised in the Haw Creek Baptist Church in Cumming, GA. She was a resident of Gracewood Hospital in Augusta, GA for fifty-eight years.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Carrel Pruitt officiating. Interment will follow at Haw Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Cumming, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday morning from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.
