Janet Wallace

Miss Janet Wallace of Gainesville, Ga. passed away Friday, December 20, 2013.


Born in Hall County on May 24, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Hansel H. and Kathryn Holland Wallace.

Miss Wallace worked at Chicopee until its closing and then moved to Siemens to work until her retirement. She was of the Baptist faith.



She is survived by her brother and sister in law, Jimmy and Jackie Wallace of Gainesville; sister, Rebecca Martin of Gainesville; nephews and wives, James and Marie Grier of Lula, Jeff and Nina Wallace of Dacula; nieces and spouses, Jill and Ron Hodges of Flowery Branch, Elizabeth and Michael Platt of Oklahoma City, OK.; niece, Kathy Taylor of Andrew, NC, nephew, Chris Martin of Alpharetta; great nephew, Justin Grier of Lula and great niece, Kaitlin Taylor of Andrews, NC.



A Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday December 23, 2013 at Oakwood Cemetery. Rev. Phil Carpenter will officiate.
