Ellwyn Harold Hollifield

Ellwyn Harold Hollifield, age 68 of Clermont, passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.


Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, December 20, 2013 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Sam Parsons will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 19, 2013 from 2 - 4 pm and 6 - 8 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Hollifield was born on May 24, 1945 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late William Hollifield and Kate Faucett Hollifield. He was a retired Painter and a member of New Holland Baptist Church.

Mr. Hollifield is survived by his daughter, Kris Dawson of Cleveland, brother, Barry Hollifield of Dahlonega and grandchildren, Jordan Dawson and Mackensie Dawson, both of Cleveland.
