Mrs. Vivian Doris Hubbard, age 73, of Murrayville, Georgia, passed away Sunday, December 8, 2013 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 pm Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel with interment to follow in Yellow Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Murrayville. The Reverend Roger Stover will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hubbard was born November 2, 1940, a native to Hall County and daughter of the late Carl Grizzle and Nellie Peck Grizzle. She was a member of the First Graduating Class at North Hall High School in 1958 and worked for Lanier Hospital for a number of years. She was a member of Yellow Creek Baptist Church in Murrayville. Mrs. Hubbard was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ray C. Hubbard; sisters, Edith Sims and Eulene Grizzle; brothers, Cecil Grizzle and Paul Grizzle.
Mrs. Hubbard is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Shane Burtz and son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Tina Hubbard, all of Murrayville; grandsons, Matt Hubbard, Drew Hubbard, both of Murrayville; Paul Burtz of Atlanta and Coleman Burtz of Murrayville; granddaughter and husband, Hannah and J.R. Baldwin of Jacksonville, FL; great-granddaughter, Lilly Bell Baldwin also of Jacksonville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Henry and Nellie Grizzle of Dahlonega; Arthur and Betty Grizzle of Fairborn, Ohio; sister, Clara F. Underwood of Gainesville;and sister-in-law, June Grizzle of Murrayville.
