Tate Head, age 76, of Cumming, passed away Friday, December 6, 2013. Tate was a resident of Cherokee County for 59 years and a member of New Harmony Baptist Church.
Survivors include his loving wife, Peggy Head; son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Kim Head; granddaughters, Brittney and Lauren Head; brother and sister-in-law, A.W. and Mae Head; brother, Arthur Head; sister and brother-in-law, Matt and Tony Sheriff; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Ben and Thelma Gilbert, Bonnie Wright, Bob and Fairy Gilbert, Willie B. Edwards; several nieces and nephews and other loved ones and friends.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 8, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at New Harmony Baptist Church with Rev. Johnny Purcell, Rev. Clyde Boling, Rev. Sammy Wright and Rev. Shaun Wright officiating. Interment will follow at New Harmony Baptist Church Cemeter
