Carolyn Ann Middlebrook

Mrs. Carolyn Ann Middlebrook, age 57, of Dahlonega, GA, passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at her home following an extended illness.

Mrs. Middlebrook was born in Atlanta, GA March 28, 1956 and had lived in Lumpkin County for several years. She was a homemaker and was a member of Cradle Mountain Baptist Church in Lumpkin County.

She was the daughter of the late Julius and Martha Crawford Fambro and was also preceded in death by a sister, Janice Fambro; and a step-son, William Middlebrook Jr.

Carolyn is survived by her husband, William Eugene Middlebrook, Dahlonega, GA; step-daughter, Laura Middlebrook, Rockmart, GA ; brother and sister-in-law, Julius Jr. and Kathy Fambro, Gainesville, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jerome and Connie Kitchens, David and Yvonne Lingerfelt, Dahlonega, GA ; nieces, Tonya and Greg Trammell and Amanda and Mark Crane; nephews, David"Punky" Lingerfelt, Casey and Ben Kitchens; great nieces and great nephews, Kyle and Kiersta Trammell, Breanna and Braden Crane, and Carson Lingerfelt. A number of other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Middlebrook are scheduled for 2 PM Thursday, December 5, 2013 at Cradle Mountain Baptist Church in Lumpkin County.

Rev. Dale Abernathy will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Lumpkin County.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega, GA on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 from 5 PM until 9 PM and again on Thursday until the time of service.
