Ola Bell Kastner Scott

Mrs. Ola Bell Kastner Scott, age 67 of 177 Chubby Drive, Toccoa, Georgia passed away Monday, December 2, 2013 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
A daughter of the late Jessie Coleman and Fannie Pitts Kastner, she was born June 18, 1946 in White County, Georgia having lived most of her life in Stephens County, Georgia. She worked with Penline Garment Company in Toccoa for a number of years and later retired in 2000 from E. Benjamin Plant in Habersham County. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church in Habersham County and she enjoyed quilting and flower gardening. She was preceded in death by a sister, Janice Kastner Canady and by a brother, Terrell Kastner.
Survivors include her husband of the home, James E. Scott; daughter and son-in-law, Sheila and Ronald Rogers of Toccoa; son, James C. Scott of Toccoa; two grandchildren, Grace Rogers and Benjamin Rogers; brother, Wade Kastner of Mt. Holly, North Carolina; sisters and brothers-in-law, Bernice Smith of Lawrenceville, Georgia, Inez and Gwyn Scott, Wayne Scott and Marshall Canady all of Toccoa; mother-in-law, Josephine Cheek Scott.
Funeral services will be Thursday, December 5, 2 O'clock PM at Toccoa Creek Baptist Church with Pastor Vernon Dorminey and Mr. Steve Purdy officiating.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Ronald Rogers, Johnny Smith, David White, Cameron Edge, Randy Woods and Kenny Clark.
The family will be at the home on 177 Chubby Drive and will receive friends at Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6 PM to 9 PM.
Interment will follow in the Toccoa City Cemetery with Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of arrangements for Mrs. Ola Bell Kastner Scott. Online condolences can be made by visiting the website at www.acree-davisfh.com
