Reuben J. Ball, Jr.

Reuben J. Ball, Jr., age 83 of Cumming, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2013.

He was a devoted man to his family and church, had a great sense of humor and enjoyed playing golf and traveling. Reuben was a member of the Lions Club and was past president. He was a former Liberty National Life Insurance Agent and owned Ball Tax Service.

Reuben was preceded in death by his parents, Reuben J. and Ruby Ball; brother Horace Ball.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Susan L. Ball of Cumming; children, Diane Wall O'Shields (Danny) of Ball Ground, Chris Ball of Cumming; brothers, Robert Lee (Louise) Ball of Cumming, Fred H. (Dianne) Ball of Milton; sister, Elaine Reid of Cumming; sister-in-law, Gloria Ball of Woodstock; grandchildren, Leina Douka, Jordan Wall, Alex Ball, Whitney Ball; 7 great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
