Harold Poore

Harold Poore, 84, of Dawsonville, GA, passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2013. He was born in Hall County on August 23, 1929. He was a member of St. Paul Methodist Church.

He retired from North Georgia College. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and gardening. He also enjoyed his gospel/bluegrass music.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ross Coleman and Bertie Reeves Poore, 2 brothers and 4 sisters, former spouse, Cora Mae Poore.

He is survived by daughters and sons in law: Doris and Ronnie Woody, Suches, GA; Ann and Ronnie Fields, Dahlonega, GA; Brenda and Ernie Dunn, Dahlonega, GA; Robbie and Rick Goode, Dawsonville, GA. Five grandchildren: Anthony Pruitt, Bryan & Jennie Wilson, Lacy Garrett, Christopher Taylor and Brandon Dunn. Two great grandchildren: Kaleb and Matthew Wilson. One sister, Miss Martha Ann Poore, Murrayville, GA.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Dahlonega Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. C.B. Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Dahlonega Memorial Park Cemetery.
