Virginia Nell Pike

Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland, announces the death of Mrs Virginia Nell Pike, age 75 of Sautee. Mrs. Pike passed away, Friday, November 22, 2013. Born in Atlanta, on May 9, 1938, Virginia was the daughter of the late George Rooke and Nina Watson Rooke. Virginia loved her God,her family, her home and her friends. In 1998, she and her husband, John Pike Sr., moved to Sautee, and joined Nacoochee United Methodist Church, where Virginia was an active member of Sunday School.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, John Pike Sr, of Sautee; son and daughter in law, Rev. John Pike Jr. and wife Sally of Greensboro, Ga.; daughter, Deborah McDaniel and husband, LaWayne of Dacula; brother, John Rooke of Atlanta, sisters, Evelyn, Janet and Anita as well as her precious grandchildren, Katie and David Boland, Zachary Pike, Ashleigh McDaniel, her fiance' Russell Lamey and Hayden McDaniel as well as her great grandson, Bennett Boland.

A celebration of Virginia's life will be held on Sunday, December 1, 2013 at 3:30pm in the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00pm to 3:30 pm

Flowers will be acknowledged, however it is requested that memorial donations be made to Nacoochee United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 426, Sautee Nacoochee, Ga. 30571
