Harold Wiley McClure

Harold Wiley McClure, age 68 of Gainesville, passed away Thursday, November 21, 2013 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.


Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, November 24, 2013 at 2:30 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Billy Emmett will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 23, 2013 from 6 - 9 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. McClure was born November 28, 1944 in Charlotte, North Carolina to the late Clyde E. McClure and Pauline Dale McClure. He was retired from the grocery business and was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Jackie McClure, father-in-law, O. L. Faulkner and brother-in-law, Kenneth Faulkner.

Mr. McClure is survived by his wife of 49 years, Linda Faulkner McClure of Gainesville, daughter & son-in-law, Lisa & James Guthrie of Roswell, son & daughter-in-law, Richard & Lisa McClure of Roswell, grandchildren, Abigail Mae McClure of Havre De Grace, Maryland, Mary Katharine McClure Guthrie of Roswell and Leo Nicholas Guthrie of Roswell, sisters & brothers-in-law, Betty & Larry Jones of Clermont and Judy & Gene Thompson of Gainesville, brother & sister-in-law, Jerry & Judy McClure of Oakwood, beloved mother-in-law, Bonnie Faulkner of Jefferson, sisters-in-law & brothers-in-law, JoAnn & Thomas Barry of Jefferson, Mary & Leland Amos of Hoschton, Pauline Bishop and Edwin Faulkner of Flowery Branch and Charlene & Lamar Faulkner of Talmo.
