Arwannah Faye Smith

Arwannah Faye Smith, age 84 of Gainesville, passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at The Oaks of Limestone following an extended illness.


Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, November 24, 2013 at 3:30 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Scott Wilson will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 23, 2013 from 6 - 8 pm at the funeral home.


Mrs. Smith was born January 3, 1929 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Howard Bone and Stella Gillespie Bone. She was retired from Northeast Georgia Medical Center and was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church. Arwannah was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Dewey Smith and two of her sons, David Smith and Larry Smith.


Mrs. Smith is survived by her son & daughter-in-law, Ronald & Anna Smith of Washington, Georgia, her daughters & sons-in-law, Debi & Tom Stevenson of Gainesville and Joy & Randy Henry of Albany, Georgia, 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
