William Louie Butterworth

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday November 23, 2013 in the Ward's Funeral Home Chapel for William Louie Butterworth age 79 of Gainesville.

The Rev. James Hatcher and Rev. Chris York will officiate.

Interment will follow in Timber Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m Friday at the funeral home.

Mr. Butterworth passed away Thursday November 21, 2013.

Mr. Butterworth was born in Hall County to the late Henry Lee Butterworth and Bonnie Lue Latty Butterworth. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Banks County. Mr. Butterworth was a farmer, mechanic and was able to repair or build just about anything.

Survivors include Wife, Janice Butterworth, Gainesville, Son and Daughter-in-Law, William Daryl and Tamara Butterworth, Gainesville, Daughter and Son-in-Law, Kelly and Nick Vitug, Gainesville, Brother and Sister-in-Law, J.H. And Joyce Butterworth, Gainesville, Sisters and Brothers-in-Law, Betty Jean and Bill Faulkner, Gainesville, Martha and Lewis Jones, Gainesville, Luann and Brian McGonigle, Gainesville, Grandchildren, Brittany Nicole Butterworth, William Tryston Butterworth, Cohen Nicholas Vitug and Addison Grace Vitug.
