Philip 'Brandon' Hobbs

Philip "Brandon" Hobbs, a 10-year resident of Dahlonega, went to Heaven to be with his mother Patricia Karen Hobbs on November 20, 2013.



Brandon, 39, was born in Patuxent River, MD July, 29, 1974. He is a graduate of Houston County High School in Warner Robins, GA, and served our country in the US Navy on the USS Tarawa from 1994-1997.



Brandon was warehouse manager for Well Being Hygiene in Gainesville, GA. He was passionate about people and loved his family, friends and co-workers.



He is survived by his father Philip "Gary" Hobbs, step-mother Jean Owens Hobbs, sisters Brittney Schmidt and Lindsay Morales, step-sisters Holley Shearer and Heather Ricklefs, nieces Aubrey Schmidt, Ellery Shearer and Hadley Ricklefs and nephews Oliver & Gabriel Morales, Grey Shearer and Owen Ricklefs. He also leaves behind uncles, aunts, cousins and friends who will remember his generous giving spirit, loving heart and willingness to help anyone who needed him.



In lieu of flowers, his family is requesting donations to Toys for Tots or Children's Miracle Network to celebrate his love of children and gift-giving.



A memorial service will be held at the Dahlonega Funeral Home, 20 Gibson Road, Dahlonega, GA 30533 on Friday, November 22, 2013 at 2 p.m.
