Clara H. Rudeseal

Clara Hulsey Rudeseal, age 97 of Mt. Airy, went Home to be with Jesus on November 19, 2013, at her residence.
Born on August 05, 1916, in Habersham County, she was a daughter of the late Ezra and Eunice Perry Hulsey. Mrs. Rudeseal was a homemaker and also retired from Ethicon. She was a graduate from Young Harris College where she obtained a degree in education and was a school teacher for several years. She was a very active and dedicated member of Hazel Creek Baptist Church and served in many capacities including, Sunday school teacher, WMU leader, Happy Timers, and the building and flower committee. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, flowers, word search puzzles, sewing, and quilting.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, John Homer Rudeseal; daughters, Lenora Rudeseal and Ellen Faye Baggett; brothers, Rudolph, Jefferson, and Herbert Hulsey.
Surviving are sons and daughters-in-law, Mark & Tammie Rudeseal of Lawrenceville and John & Susan Rudeseal of Mt. Airy; son-in-law, Jim Baggett of Lilburn; grandchildren, Andrew & Meredith Rudeseal, Melissa & Matthew Downer, Lauren Baggett, and Whitney Rudeseal; great grandchildren, Peyton Isaacs, Hudson Downer, and Elliott Rudeseal; brothers, Minuard Hulsey and Julian Hulsey both of Mt. Airy, Everett Hulsey of Athens; sisters, Margie Barnett of Mocksville, NC, Thenia Tilson of Mt. Airy, and Jean Purcell of Athens; also several nieces and nephews survive.
Funeral services are 2:00 pm Friday, November 22, 2013, at Hazel Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Trent Smith and Rev. Billy Burrell officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-4 & 6-8 pm Thursday.
