Doris Mae Black

Mrs. Doris Mae Black, age 64 of 110 North Avenue, Eastanollee passed away Monday, November 18, 2013 at her residence.

A daughter of the late Jack and Beatrice Black, she was born June 25, 1949 in Elberton, Georgia having lived most of her life in Franklin and Stephens Counties. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include two daughters and son-in-law, Deborah and Lloyd Kinney and Donna Watson both of Toccoa; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Kevin and Dana Elrod of Newnan, Georgia and Bradley Farmer of Augusta, Georgia; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; four brothers, Robert Black of Elberton, Georgia, Calvin Black of Toccoa, Georgia, Denver Black and Daniel Black both of Canon, Georgia; two sisters, Margaret Bohannon of North Carolina and Darlene Pulliam of Lavonia, Georgia.

Funeral services will be Thursday, November 21, 11 O'clock AM at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with the Reverend Jan Deveraux officiating. The following grandsons will serve as pallbearers, Josh Kinney, Austin Kinney, Andrew Whiten and Brian Watson.

The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Thursday from 10 AM until the service time.

Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Gardens with Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of arrangements for Mrs. Doris Mae Black.
