Dennis Edward Gueth

Ivie Funeral Home, Madison County Chapel in Danielsville, announces memorial services for Mr. Dennis Edward Gueth, 70, of Comer who passed away on Monday at the Ty Cobb Healthcare Center in Comer. Born in Upson County, GA, he was the son of the late Louis Edward and Ouida Earnest Gueth and was married to Vivian Scarborough Gueth of the residence. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Michelle Gueth and a brother, Louis Donald Gueth. Mr. Gueth was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church and the Mt. Vernon Masonic Lodge #22. Survivors, along with his wife, include children, Tracy (Scott) Underwood and David (Nicole) Gueth, both of Watkinsville, Adam (Dawn) Gueth of Commerce, Allen Ford of Colbert and William Wooten Gueth Haley of Nashville, TN; brother, Ernie Gueth of Tallahassee, FL; 9 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; 2 nephews. Memorial services are scheduled for Thursday at 3 PM from the Oak Grove Baptist Church with Revs. Gerald Hunt and Bobby Maxwell officiating. A private family burial will be conducted later. The family will receive friends at the home of Allen Ford located at 416 N. 4th St. in Colbert.
