W. Connie Berry

Graveside services for W. Connie Berry, age 86 of Demorest will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at 12:00 noon from the Demorest City Cemetery with Rev. Hal Cason officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM.

Mr. Berry died Sunday, November 17, 2013 following an extended illness.

Born on Ocotober 2, 1927 in Habersham County, Mr. Berry was the son of the late William Connie and Grace Bone Berry, Sr. He was a self employed truck driver and a United States Army WWII Veteran. Mr. Berry was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, Mr. Berry is preceded in death by a sister Nebraska Stewart.

Survivors include daughter Brenda Cantrell of Baldwin, son William Berry of Demorest, son and daughter in law Connie and Joann Berry of Demorest, five granddaughters Linda, Lisa, Beth, Christy, and Amanda, grandson James and eight great grandchildren.
