Lloyd Aubrey Burnette

Lloyd Aubrey Burnette, 64, of Rydal, Georgia, passed away Friday, November 15, 2013 at Floyd Medical Center in Rome, after a brief illness.

Mr. Burnette was born May 28, 1949, in Hall County, son of the late Floyd Burnette and Geraldine Parson Burnette. He was also preceded in death by a son, Chad Burnette.

Mr. Burnette attended East Hall High School and GJC and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was a member of Pine Log United Methodist Church in Rydal, Georgia.

He retired from Stork Gamco in Gainesville, was retired owner of Burnette Farm in Rydal, and was currently employed by the Bartow County School System at Cass High School.

Survivors include his wife, Terri; daughter and son-in-law, Tonya (Shawn) McClure, Italy; sons, Brooklyn, of the home; Chris, of Banks County; grandchildren, Blake, Tucker, and Bella; brothers, David, Michael, and Clyde Burnette.

Funeral services will be Monday, November 18th, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Little-Davenport with the Rev. Don Clark officiating. Interment will follow in Alta Vista Cemetery. Pallbearers include Blake Burnette, Kevin Burnette, Steve Burnette, Ken Burnette, Shawn McClure, and Brandon Stokes.

The family received friends at Owen Funeral Home in Cartersville on Saturday, November 16th. The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. on Sunday, November 17th at Little-Davenport Funeral Home in Gainesville.
