Larry Conner

Larry Conner, 65, of Gainesville, GA passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Mr. Conner lived in Hall County all his life and was the son of the late Noah and Pauline Conner and was a member of Wahoo Baptist Church.

Larry was a graduate of East Hall High School, a Vietnam Veteran, and was employed with General Motors until a near fatal automobile accident in 1973.

Larry was proud to have served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War. He was a helicopter crew chief with the 129th Assault Helicopter Company and received The Air Medal in 1968 for his aerial combat missions in Vietnam.

Mr. Conner is preceded in death by his parents, Noah and Pauline Conner and brothers, Richard Conner and Gary Conner.

Survivors include his sister, Deborah Conner, Gainesville; nephews and spouses, Trent and Amber Wyman, Cumming; Paul and Christine Conner, Clermont; niece and spouse, Laura and Chad Wright, Lula; aunts and uncles, Clara Wilson, Gainesville; Raymond and Louise Dunagan, Gainesville; Dr. Donald and Jeanette Dunagan, Augusta; a number of cousins, and his special great niece, Sagan Wyman.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday November 18, 2013 in the Little & Davenport Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Wahoo Baptist Church Cemetery with Military Honors. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday November 17, 2013 from 4-6 p.m.
